

This week has really got me thinking about what wellbeing actually means.
Not the Instagram version. Not the corporate wellness version. The real, messy, multifaceted version that shows up in every corner of your life.
Because wellbeing isn't one thing. It's everything.
Emotional wellbeing. Economic wellbeing. Physical wellbeing. Relational wellbeing. Social wellbeing. Lifestyle wellbeing. Personal wellbeing.
It's needed everywhere. And when one area suffers, the rest feel it.
This week, I had a rotten cold and hurt my back.
And I was reminded—sharply—why your physical wellbeing is so bloody important when it comes to showing up for your family and your business.
You can have the best strategy in the world. The clearest vision. The most aligned goals.
But if your body is screaming at you to rest and you ignore it? If your energy is depleted and you keep pushing? If your wellbeing isn't leading?
Everything suffers.
Your business suffers. Your relationships suffer. Your clarity suffers. Your future self suffers.
Your belief systems might be holding you back, but if your body is screaming and you're ignoring it, no amount of belief work will help. Wellbeing has to lead.
This is why I built THE WEALTH OF WELLBEING around the W.E.A.L.T.H.Y. framework:

This week, I took the dogs for a walk on the Malverns. Alone.
It's something I've been saying I'd do for ages. And I kept putting it off. Finding excuses. "Too busy." "Too cold." "Maybe next week."
But there's always an excuse, isn't there?
I needed that walk. Not just physically. Emotionally. Mentally. Spiritually.
I needed to move my body. To breathe. To think. To reconnect with myself.
That walk? That was my Energy wellbeing and my physical wellbeing working together. That was me honouring my rhythm instead of ignoring it.
It wasn't about productivity. It wasn't about ticking something off a list. It was about making an adjustment to my world. Checking in with where I am and where I'm going. Stepping into that future place.
Because your future self isn't burnt out. She's regulated, clear, and strong.
And she got there by doing the walks. By lighting the candles. By calling the friends. By making today special.
What are you saving it for?
The expensive bottle of wine. The nice candle. The walk you keep putting off. The call to that friend.
What are you waiting for? When will you feel special enough?
Or is today a good day to make special?
Because here's what I've learned:you don't become your future self by waiting. You become her by living as her now.
That's what THE WEALTH OF WELLBEING is about.
It's not about grinding yourself into the ground to achieve some future version of success.
It's about honouring your rhythm. Protecting your energy. Making adjustments to your world in real time. Leading from wellbeing first.
Your economic wellbeing matters. Your emotional wellbeing matters. Your physical wellbeing matters. Your relational wellbeing matters.
All of it matters. And all of it is connected.
